Selling at Detling Showground Antiques & Vintage Fair
The Kent County Showground is just under an hour from both Gatwick and Dover giving our Detling fair has a truly cosmopolitan feel. Standing on the site of the Second World War airfield RAF Detling, the venue is steeped in history and the perfect location for our flagship fair. It's excellent location, just minutes from the M20, make it easily accessible and with nearly two million people living within a 20 mile radius, there's lots of customers close by. Postcode: ME14 3JF
With up to 400 indoor stands, with hundreds more outside, Buyers flock to the event six times a year from the UK, Europe and further afield. With huge two indoor halls, as well outside pitches, whatever your preference, this fair is an excellent opportunity to trade.
Its location allows for a flavour of the continent as it is just over 40 minutes from both Gatwick airport and the Dover crossing and the Channel Tunnel Ashford Station is even nearer. Making it accessible from where ever in the world you come.

We have a variety of inside pitch spaces, including single, double, half furniture and full furniture pitches - all inside pitches must be pre-booked. With masses of space at the Showground, our outside sellers get a sizeable pitch and you can either pre-book or just turn up on the day. See below for more details on these pitch options.

How to apply to exhibit at the Detling Showground Antiques & Vintage Fair

Types of pitches available:
Inside Stalls: Pre-Booked

Types of indoor pitches: Single, double or furniture pitches available

Single pitch (10ft x 6ft) comes with one table

Double pitch (20ft x 6ft) comes with two tables

Whole furniture pitch: 25ft sq approx
Half furniture pitch: 12ft x 25ft approx
Furniture pitches do NOT come with any tables but can be ordered from us (in advance)

Indoor dealers must attend for both days (single day standing not possible)

Inside pre-booked sellers can set up on Friday morning from 9.30am until 4.00pm, or on Saturday morning from 7.30am to 8.30am

• Single pitch: £150
• Double pitch: £220
• Half furniture pitch: £220
• Whole furniture pitch : £345
• Extra tables: £10 if pre-booked (£11 on the day, subject to availability)
• For furniture pitches: No tables are supplied for these pitches. but they can be order for an extra cost of £10 per table

Pre-booked pitches must be booked before noon on the Wednesday prior to the event

Dealers in pre-booked outside pitches must stand for both days (single day standing not possible - for single day standing please refer to casual pitches)

For all outside pitches, your vehicle can remain on the pitch with you for the duration of the event.

Outside pre-booked sellers can set up on Friday morning from 11.00am onwards, right through until 8.15am on Saturday morning (we open at 8.30am to the public) - as we have 24 hour security.

WHAT TIME CAN YOU ARRIVE?:
• For Saturday only and two day casuals:
You can arrive at any time from 11.00am on Friday, right through to 8.15am on Saturday morning (we open at 8.30am to the public) - as we have 24 hour security.
• For Sunday only casuals:You can arrive at any time from 6.00pm on Saturday evening right through to 9.30am on Sunday morning (we open to the public at 10.00am on Sunday) - as we have 24 hour security.

The Kent Event County Showground is located on the A249, which is a dual carriageway. From the M20 Motorway, exit the motorway at Junction 7 and follow signs to Sittingbourne and Sheerness A249. The Kent Showground is clearly marked and is approximately 2 miles from the junction.
From the M2 Motorway, exit the motorway at Junction 5 signposted Maidstone A249. The Kent Showground is approximately 5 miles.
Plentiful free parking is available onsite.

By Bus
Whilst there is a limited bus service from Maidstone the bus stop is half an hour walk from the showground. We therefore advise you to get a taxi or come by car.
By Rail
The nearest train station is Maidstone East.
